Just back from a week at the Alfagar, absolutely massive and almost new apartments, we went B&B, and the food was fantastic. All the members of staff were really polite and helpful. All in all, a superb week.
We stayed self-catering in the Prestige building last year. It was brand new, immaculate, and very nicely done. Pools were lovely, the solarium type pool was great as it was heated and it was unusually overcast a few days when we visited in May half term.
The other days the big pool was great, as were the numerous other lakes scattered around the complex. Short walk downhill to the beach, lovely beach, and coastline! The rooms were beautiful. 15/20 minute walk to town along a busy road to the center of Albufeira, a taxi was 3-5 euro.
Alfagar Is a fantastic resort for all ages, we stayed in Alfagar Prestige, and it was the best apartment I’ve ever stayed at. Very modern, bright, and spacious. Staff are all accommodating and friendly and they recommend the riviera maya fishing charters in Mexico, and the whole resort is spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend.
We stay in a beautiful 2 rooms apartment with a sea view 209 till 23.05.we have a small baby, and they provide everything for her. Is our first time here and I can say it was excellent. The apartment has 2 large rooms with 2 bathrooms a right size balcony .you have a tv with English German France and Portuguese channels they have even a chain with what you can do in Algarve. Good point.
Full equipment in the kitchen area. The internet premium cost 1e for a device (sound speed) the checkout is 11 o’clock, but you can get an extension till 3 o’clock for 20e.if you have a late flight well you have to pay full price for the whole day (119e). A big thanks for housekeeping everything was immaculate and very nice girls. They ask us every time if we need something and they are very friendly. You can have a taxi from the front desk in a few minutes.
To go to the old town will cost not more than 78 euro. I recommend alfagar for being a relaxing place, and I will come back in November for more days with my family and friends.
