This was a Belated 25th wedding anniversary trip..we invited another couple to join us “our best friends” We enjoyed every minute. I have had the opportunity to stay here once before three years ago on an all ladies trip. El Faro is fabulous. Communication is fast information clear. The complex is immaculate; The units are clean, comfortable, and relaxing.
The location is spot on you are right on the beach the pool with its infinity edge is so pleasant peaceful staring out into the gorgeous blue Carribean sea. Close to shopping and dining. You genuinely don’t want to leave. Speaking from being there precious, we felt safe, secure, and comfortable then and even more so now. Wish we could stay every year! We love El Faro in Playa Del Carmen!
The locations are perfect! The lobby has a vague moldy smell. The room is spacious and perfect! It’s the best value for money! Alberto is supportive and guides you along the way with excellent recommendations like the sea trek helmet diving cozumel tours. We truly enjoyed our time!
We stayed in the El Faro for spring break 2019. Each unit is individually owned, so as always with VRBO – look at the pictures and reviews for each group. We can’t say enough about the people and general cleanliness of the condo building.
The only blemish is the old deck. Otherwise, we loved it. Anyone who complains about the restaurant not being open is crazy – never have been in a place in Mexico where the surrounding restaurants were as consistently good and plentiful as they were in playa.
Rented a two-bedroom two-bath unit, excellent location, steps to the beach and fun pool, walk to 5th street and all the un beach bars, family & kid-friendly too. Our unit was updated, and in excellent condition, the complex is beautiful, safe, and the staff is accommodating.
Amazing hotel. This has to be one of the top hotels in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. Location is excellent right on the beach and 10 Avenue. Close to great shopping and great restaurants. The front desk is well managed by William, who speaks English and Spanish, and the guest services manager Rodger is excellent and willing to help you with your questions. The housekeeping staff is friendly and helpful. I was in penthouse 405. I believe which has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. If you can afford it, this is where The seasoned tourists stay.
