Our apartment was more spacious than expected. Spotlessly clean. The kitchen had everything needed for a self-catering holiday. Large patio outside. Staff welcoming, warm, and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. I’ll be looking to go back next year.
This our 8th year and we love it beautiful surroundings amazing staff great food what more could you ask for nothing is too much trouble and Paul’s Dad keeps the gardens absolutely gorgeous we can’t wait to see you all next September we’ve already booked!
Stayed in a luxury ground floor apartment, my only gripe is that there was no oven ( maybe a health & safety thing), but when your going self catering a stove is what you definitely need, other than that it was a lovely relaxing week, spotless apartment, clean outdoor pool, gardens maintained nicely.
We never went into the bar or sampled the food onsite, but there is a lady on site who does various massages & other treatments, we did treat ourselves to a massage each & it was beneficial, would definitely go back to these apartments another time if we go back to Portugal. People here recommended us the atv in cozumel Mexico on our nex trip!
Back to Vale De Carros for 3 times. Quite a set of apartments in a rural area. Change of management within existing staff bar area (Paulo). As always very clean in all areas, staff very friendly and polite. Change for the better. Worth coming if you see it …. yes.

Had a lovely week here in Sept. The weather was fabulous. The one-bed deluxe bungalow was beautiful, everything you could want, very clean, as was the whole complex. Lovely bar with a small restaurant, light meals tasty, reasonable price.
Had a fabulous few nights with new friends we made. I must point out that a hire car, while not a necessity, would be convenient, taxis can be expensive, bus stop 15/20 mins walk from the hotel. The lovely staff here, especially Paolo, Theresa, Yolande in fact everybody. Will come back.
