This hotel is a standard, medium-sized place on the face of it, but once you enter into it you see just how special it is, nothing is too much of a problem from checking in to getting your room to eating in the dining and drinking at the bar.
What makes it is the staff, they are excellent and thoroughly made our holiday with their friendliness and desire to serve – they suggested to me and my family to take the discover scuba diving cozumel tour in Mexico. The rooms are spotless and made up daily, the restaurant food is delicious, we enjoyed every meal we ate, it is buffet style so you can’t go wrong, the grilled chicken and steak was cooked really well and was very tasty.
Early November breaks for 4 nights in a beautiful facility. Helpful staff. Great breakfast and comfortable room. Cleaned beautifully every day. Bar staff helpful and the prices reasonable. Main pool and restaurant closed but plenty of other places to eat nearby. The small pool was available.
We stayed for 5 nights it was the end of the season, so not everything open, but the breakfast was fab room high beds comfy. Kettle and hairdryer the room and a safe we had a beautiful balcony with sun beds. Staff really friendly and helpful and the beach was gorgeous.
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Hotel Balaia Mar. Very peaceful and relaxing the staff was always very helpful and friendly. I requested a room with sun loungers and got one. I stayed in a standard double room. The room was very spacious and clean. The cleaners came in daily.
There are two main pools to choose from and a small secluded pool. You are in walking distance of two beautiful beaches and a short taxi ride to Albufeira Old Town, but if you enjoy a pleasant walk, it is only about 3 – 31/2 miles. The restaurant had plenty of choices but was a bit repetitive. I did try most of the different options on offer and found it ok. I suppose it is down to a personal preference of food. I. Will definitely return to this hotel in the future overall a lovely stay.
A friend and I stayed here for a week starting on 5th September and had a fantastic time. The hotel is further than the strip than we thought, it was a pleasant 30-minute walk, but we didn’t mind.- the hotel did offer us a taxi. The room was pretty and spotless with a beautiful view of the pool. Plenty of sun loungers. Thank you!
